PixelStrips is a FREE web comic community, capturing a diverse audience by offering strips based not only on superheroes, but a wide range of genres ranging from religion to manga. In addition to some of the best online comics available, PixelStrips also features great reviews, interviews, and articles about comics, movies, and just about anything else that piques your interest. PixelStrips also is your one-stop reference area for creators to learn and discuss their craft, from visual storytelling to the best way to find an experienced penciller.
If my web comic is selected to be on Pixelstrips do I still own it?

You may run your comic on other sites as well as Pixelstrips.com
although we do prefer them to be exclusive to our site ._top
What format does my comic have to be?
Comics and Web comics can be color of B&W. We run anything from one panel gag comics to full standard comic book page format comics. If you have a unique layout for you comic send it in, this is the net, and we are all for something different! _top

How do I add my comic to the site?
Artist will have access to the Artist Control Panel. This is where you go to fill out information about your strip like: Team leader, contact info,email, Paypal email if different (this is how you will be paid monthly), strip title and issue. You receive detailed instructions on this when you sign up. _top

How often do I update my web comic?
You can load when you like as long as its consistent. Most updates are made on Wednesday. But it can also be MWF, or daily if you want. The key is that its consistent. _top

How does the pay structure work?
At the end of each month net revenues for the preceding month are accounted for and made viewable by the artists. 60% of these net revenues shall be set aside for marketing, future advances, emergency funds and other overheads. The remaining 40% shall be split among creators.

A creative team's take is decided by the number of page hits from subscribed customers. The higher the hits the more of a percentage of the 40% he gets. All ad money is also divided amongst the artists. It's a pretty fair system. Update regularly, get the word out about your comic and you make more. _top

How is the site organized
Strips are categorized by genre: Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, Horror, Romance, Comedy, Manga, Spiritual, Everyday Life. If you are working on something you don't think fits into one of these send it in! We want to see what you are doing! _top
What To Send In
1. Summary and/or concept of you comic
2. Script pages if you have them
3. Actual comic or strip if in production
4. If your comic is not in production and you do not have art from it, we need sequential art from your teams artist.

Getting Back To You
Because of the high number of submissions PixelStrips receives, don't be surprised if it takes a few weeks before you hear back from us. Please be patient. Due to the high volume of submissions received, PixelStrips is not able to notify each team if their strip is not chosen.

The most important thing PixelStrips is looking for is a professional team. Strips must be delivered to us on a weekly basis. Since we are subscription site, our readers depend on us, and you, to deliver quality work on time.
